# whoami
I'm Nghia Pham -- a full-stack developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with 10+ years shipping web applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and infrastructure. I've worked with most modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), backend stacks (Node.js, Express, PHP, Java), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare).
Lately my focus has shifted toward Kubernetes, platform engineering, and distributed systems -- which is what most of the posts here are about. But I'm comfortable across the whole stack and still write plenty of frontend code.
# what I do
Freelance and contract full-stack work since 2010 -- building and maintaining production web apps for clients across e-commerce, hotel booking, digital agencies, and SaaS. Lately I've been deep in container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation: Kubernetes in production, cluster provisioning, security hardening, observability stacks, and disaster recovery.
Strong interests outside infra: databases (especially PostgreSQL), message queues (Kafka), frontend architecture (React/Angular/Vue), and the operational side of running stateful workloads on Kubernetes.
# this blog
This blog is where I write about things I've learned, problems I've solved, and topics I find interesting in the infrastructure and DevOps space. Most posts are technical deep-dives -- the kind of content I wish existed when I was figuring things out myself.
The Kubernetes A-to-Z series is an ongoing project to cover the entire Kubernetes ecosystem from fundamentals to advanced patterns, one letter at a time.
